Mr. Harward received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University with dual minors in Mathematics and Russian. He successfully completed military training as a Russian Interrogator (more like James Bond than Austin Powers). Then, onto law school at Arizona State University, where his diverse achievements included an Academic Scholarship, Honors in Legal Writing, and winning the three-point, as well as the free-throw, basketball shooting competitions. Mr. Harward demonstrates a constant willingness to devote himself with enthusiasm and focus to reaching his goals and in the representation of his clients.

Mr. Harward is a founder and shareholder of the Law Offices of Shane L. Harward, P.L.C., a Scottsdale-based, full service law firm servicing its clients' needs in criminal defense (both adult and juvenile court); wrongful death claims; conflict resolution through alternative dispute resolution, e.g., mediation; insurance disputes; nursing home abuse and neglect cases and personal injury/accident claims.

Mr. Harward is admitted to practice law in the state of Arizona and in the United States District Court. Mr. Harward is a member of the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and a former member of the Tax Law Section and the Criminal Justice Section of the Arizona State Bar.

Mr. Harward's practice concentrates on protecting the rights of the innocent victims who have suffered an injury due to the careless and/or intentional acts of another, providing insurance advice, and trying insurance coverage disputes. Mr. Harward represents victims in regard to many types of personal injury cases, such as automobile accidents, slip-and-fall accidents, dog bites, product mishaps, and wrongful death. Mr. Harward also handles matters where bad faith and unfair claims handling is alleged against the insurance carrier. Furthermore, Mr. Harward provides criminal representation for persons (both adults and juveniles) and entities accused of and charged with violating state or local laws (not federal).

Mr. Harward has served the community through a variety of legal programs including the following: Arizona Senior Citizens' Law Project; Volunteer Lawyers Project; Homeless Legal Assistance Program; and Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program.

In addition, Mr. Harward, a former Westlaw employee, has superior knowledge and experience in using modern technology to access legislative and judicial changes in the law.
